At TES we follow a hybrid approach where they provide a framework or curriculum outline that tutor can follow, but tutors are encouraged to adapt and create lessons based on the specific needs of their students. This approach combines structure with flexibility.
Currently Recruiting For the Following:
Volunteer Tutors: Join our team as a dedicated volunteer tutor and help students achieve their full potential in reading and writing.
Paid Tutors: Earn income while sharing your expertise as a paid tutor, making a meaningful difference in students' literacy journeys.
Paid Teaching Opportunities: Explore one-off or ongoing paid teaching opportunities within our online literacy program (LitLadder) and enhance your teaching portfolio.
Book Club Leader/ Volunteers: Foster a love for reading by volunteering with our book clubs and engaging students in exciting literary discussions.
Writing Club Leader: Take the lead in inspiring young writers as you guide them in expressing their creativity and honing their writing skills.
Literacy Content Creators: Contribute to our literacy resources by creating engaging content that enhances students' reading and writing experiences.
Literacy Course Creators: Develop interactive literacy courses that empower students to become confident readers and writers.
HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Start Your Application

Step 2: Screening and Vetting
Our team will review your application to ensure it meets our criteria. For the safety of our students, all potential tutors will undergo a background check.
Step 3: Virtual Interview
If your application is successful, you'll be invited to a virtual interview after submitting a short video sample of your work. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and discuss your suitability for the role.
Step 4: Training
If selected, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program that covers our tutoring methods, platform usage, and best practices. This ensures you're well-prepared to support our students effectively.
Step 5: Assignment
Once training is complete, we'll assign you to a student or group of students based on your skills and availability. You'll receive all necessary information to begin tutoring.
Step 6: Begin Tutoring
Begin tutoring your students using our online platform. You'll have access to resources, materials, and ongoing support to excel in your role.

1. Explore the Framework: Begin by familiarizing yourself with our curriculum framework, which serves as a solid foundation for your lessons
2. Assess Student Needs: Assess your student's needs and learning style to identify areas where additional resources may be beneficial.
3. Resource Request: When you identify a need for specific resources, such as worksheets, books, or digital tools, simply submit a resource request form.
4. Review and Approval: Our team will review your request promptly and ensure the resources align with our curriculum goals.
5. Access and Implement: Once approved, you'll gain access to the requested resources, allowing you to seamlessly integrate them into your tutoring sessions.
